The Conotton Valley Union Local School District proudly serves students from Carroll, Harrison, and Tuscarawas counties. The district has a singular campus located at 7205 Cumberland Road S.W. near Bowerston, Ohio serving students enrolled in preschool through grade twelve.
Students are afforded a number of co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities that allow them to use their talents and gifts to the fullest. Such activities include a number of sports, marching band, school leadership, school newspaper, etc. Our athletic teams are members of the Inter-Valley Conference as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.
The district employs the Marzano High Reliability Framework as a means of attaining annual goals for students and staff. The framework is comprised on five pillars: 1. A safe, supportive, and collaborative culture; 2. Effective teaching in every classroom; 3. A guaranteed and viable curriculum; 4. Standards-referenced reporting; 5. Competency-based education.
