Superintendent's Message

#Missionundercontrol

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year.  The staff is very excited about the changes around the district that provide opportunities to impact the lives of our students.  The landscape has been transformed over the summer and will continue to evolve throughout the spring of 2022 as the Rocket Center construction project unfolds.

Our focus for this school year is going to be on adult behaviors relating to purposely communicating our “WHY” with respect to our Core Values and Standards-Based Grading.  It is important for all stakeholders to understand how these two areas can affect our culture.  We need support from our parents and community members if we are going to succeed at improving the student culture here at CV.

Conotton Valley is in desperate need of support in several areas. We need adults that are willing to volunteer in our PTO at the elementary level and our Booster Club at the JH/HS level.  Both these organizations provide a tremendous service to our kids.  So, if you could provide a couple of hours of assistance here and there, please reach out to those groups for more information.  If you need contact information for either one, please call the school.

Finally, the Conotton Valley Board of Education is asking our community to be patient with the current construction project.  We ask that you give yourself a little more time during pick-ups and drop-offs to ensure all safety measures are followed.  Have a great year and Go Rockets!
