There will be a brief meeting on Friday, May 23, at 3:00 p.m. for any boy in grades 7-12 (2025-26 school year) interested in playing basketball. The meeting will be held in the concession area of the Rocket Center. Coach Troyer will be present to meet everyone and discuss June/Summer plans.

Good morning! Given the inclement weather expected over the next few days, our 2025 graduation ceremony will be held in the Rocket Center gymnasium. All guests are asked to enter through the main doors of the Rocket Center. The doors will open Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. Seating will be available in the bleachers on both sides of the gymnasium. #SOAR

Conotton Valley Athletic Department Announces New Head Basketball Coaches
Bowerston, OH – 5/12/25 – The Conotton Valley Union Local School District and the Athletic Department are proud to announce the hiring of Zeb Troyer as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach and Eric Leggett as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2025-26 Season pending Board of Education approval.
Coach Zeb Troyer brings a wealth of experience, passion, and leadership to the boys basketball program. His commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court aligns perfectly with the values of Conotton Valley. With a strong background in coaching and deep understanding of the game, Coach Troyer is prepared to lead the Rockets in the competitive IVC & OVAC Conferences.
Coach Eric Leggett steps into the role of Head Girls Basketball Coach with a proven track record of mentorship, strategic basketball knowledge, and a focus on building a positive team culture. His vision for the program emphasizes growth, hard work, and unity, and he is excited to begin working with our student-athletes of Conotton Valley.
“We are thrilled to welcome both Coach Troyer and Coach Leggett to our Rocket athletics family,” said Ed Marsh, Conotton Valley Athletic Director. “Their dedication to student success, both academically and athletically, makes them ideal leaders for our basketball programs. We are confident they will build programs that our school and community can be proud of.”
The Conotton Valley Athletic Department encourages the community to support Coaches Troyer and Leggett as they begin preparations for the upcoming season.


Good morning! As a reminder, our district will be on a Two-Hour Delayed Start for this Friday, May 16, 2025. Our staff will be engaged in professional development to support student growth and achievement.
