Due to the extremely cold temperatures scheduled for the end of the school day, our dismissal procedures for students using the carpool line will be modified. These students will be kept inside the building with our outdoor staff members using walkie-talkies to notify the adults in the building to send your child outside when his/her ride arrives. Based on the information previously shared regarding wind chill warnings for tomorrow morning, the Conotton Valley Union Local School District will be closed tomorrow, January 20.
A cold weather advisory has been issued for East Central Ohio which includes Carroll, Harrison, and Tuscarawas counties until noon tomorrow. Wind chills may reach -15 below 0. Temperatures in this range can lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Conotton Valley High School will once again be hosting the CV Basketball Classic to raise funds for the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship Fund. This year’s event will take place at the Rocket Center on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
The schedule for the event is:
1:30 – Conotton Valley (Girls) vs. Rittman (Girls)
3:30 – River View vs. Linsly School
5:15 – Garaway vs. Coshocton
7:00 – Conotton Valley (Boys) vs. Southern Local
Admission is $10.00 for Adults and $5.00 for students. A pass for all 4 games may be purchased for $20.00. No Conotton Valley Season Passes or Senior Passes will be accepted on this day.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the Rocket Center on for an exciting day of high school basketball that benefits a wonderful scholarship fund in memory of Braylen Novak.
